CHLORAMINE PURA 250 MG is a tablet. It is used for the preparation of a disinfectant solution for external use. You can use CHLORAMINE PURA 250 MG to disinfect wounds, instruments, hands and vaginal rinses. CHLORAMINE PURA 250 MG can also be used to disinfect baths, swimming pools and contaminated water (contaminated water).

Chloramine is an antiseptic and a disinfectant with bactericidal action. It is an organic chlorine-containing compound that, once in contact with water, forms hypochlorous acid and hypochlorite.


Chloramine Pura 250 MG is a tablet. It is used for the preparation of a disinfectant solution for external use.


 Number of tablets to dissolve in 250 ml of water:
For disinfecting wounds: 15 tablets (= 1.5% solution)
For disinfecting instruments: 10 tablets (= 1% solution)
For hand disinfection  5 tablets (= 0.5% solution)
For vaginal rinses : 2 tablets (= 0.2% solution - this solution of 0.2% is also called Dakin solution)


For disinfecting baths and pools:
 Dissolve 2 tablets of Chloramine Pura 250 MG per 50 liters of water.

 For disinfecting contaminated water:
Depending on the degree of contamination (degree of contamination): dissolve 1 to 4 tablets per 25 liters of water.
Let this solution stand for 1 hour before using it.

 Method of administration and route of administration:
Dissolve the required number of tablets in water. Chloramine Pura 250 MG is for external use only. Avoid inhaling the chlorine fumes.
